IIRC GNUstep does not directly understand the .nib format of MacOS X's Interface Builder. It has its own IB, which uses the .gmodel format.

But there is a tool "nib2gmodel" to convert the nib file into the right format, so it should be possible do recompile your Cocoa application under GNUstep.
