			<description>Apple has replaced xinted (and rc.d scripts, and the inittab) with launchd.  Xinted does not start cron.  launchd will start crond if there are any user cron jobs installed, otherwise crond doesn't run.  However, I confess I'm confused what it does for system cron jobs.</description>
