>Anyone has tried the GTK+ Linux Version?

Yep. I installed it on Linspire 5.0 with CNR (the founder of Gizmo and SIPphone is the same as the CEO of Linspire) and it works very good. Made already 4 phonecalls sound quality is good, dough a little bit cracky but overall nice.

I've got it installed on my desktop, which is ubuntu based. The Audio is a little choppy compared to Skype, but it has a very nice interface and it makes recording much easier than Skype (a definite bonus for podcasters). Here is a link to a screenshot of Gizmo on my desktop:

XUL interface?

I'm just guessing but was Gizmos interface written in Mozilla XUL? It sure looks like it.
If it's the case, then I'm very happy to see it being used in mainstream products other than browsers. Hopefully it will help to get more people on that boat.
