If true, this is the first higher-end Palm PDA with no IrDA in it. And that's a shame, because many people have IrDA-only phones and they could use their PDAs to connect to GPRS. Other than that, this TX, if it also had a voice recorder, it would be a KILLER PalmOS PDA today!

As for the Z22, it looks very cute, but the lack of SD slot, headphone jack and IrDA kills it for me. I'm done with pda's for quite a while. There hasn't been an update to it's os in ages. I don't like that they dropped it like that. Plus, the thing locks up with a memmgr.c error in line 1654 all the time. The solution according to palm was to delete all the apps that I installed. What the heck good is a palm if I can't load my own apps? This was my second palm (after the palm Vx). I see no point in things such as the "Palm Store" because all they sell is palm crap... If I want crap for my Palm, I goto a Palm BOOTH or Franklin Covey ... I wonder if I'll be able to upgrade to the newer Palm OS when it comes out =/...
