This program was available for at least the last 5 years... So where is the news?

I don't think it ever got covered on OSNews, so there is a chance a large percentage of our reader sdon't know about it. Hence, it's news.

Golden rule of news coverage: What is old to you might be new to others.

Sounds interesting. I don't beleive I heard about it before :-P

May not be "real" news, but OSnews has some interesting "non-news" items everyone once and a while, and thats good for diversity I guess.

I'll give the program a look

yeah, that's true.

If all you are going to do is bitch because Digg had the story first, then why don't you just stay over at Digg? Is there some unspoken rule that if a news site is not the first to report something, they should refrain from posting it at all? If OSNews beat Digg to the chase on a story, would you go and bitch on Digg about it? OSNews might be late sometimes, but they don't post the same story numerous times, all within a couple of days, like is so incredibly common on Digg.

So yeah, there's the door. Don't let it hit you in the ass on the way out.
