Also I have a Thinkpad X21 too and the batterie (manufactured by IBM) is don't affected (yet?). And have already 3.5h of lifetime today :-)

In a bit of time, also the PSP batteries will be affected... Sony, go home!!!

When I was growing up, Sony had a sparkling image. They were widely regarded as a great company. The craftsmanship of their products was the golden standard by which others were judged.

Today, most of what I hear is about how they make inferior products that don't last, try to sneak root-kits onto people's computers with DRM infested CD's, and make batteries that are so bad that they can actually injure, or even kill you.

The US learned a lot from Japanese companies in the 80's and 90's.
