			<description>It's a bit of a non-article. Candidates responded to a few email questions, though it's all rather vague and three candidates didn't respond at all.<br />

To be frank, I'd have thought that some of the key folks at SuSE, Ubuntu, Fedora, etc., were better indicators than the DPL of where Linux is going and what it needs to do.<br />

Last year only about one-third of Debian's electorate even voted in the DPL election at all. If a clear majority of Debian's own developers aren't interested, it's hard to see how a DPL can carry much weight inside or outside the project.
