It could not be suitable as a photo sharing site (it doesn't have the most part of features in the article), but since myspace is included I think deviantart should be mentioned, at least because it is one of the sites with more talented photographers in the net.
(For the records, you know, somebody could not need uploading 2500 photos, sliding shows, batch capabilities, etc...)

How on Earth

How on Earth wasn't Zenfolio mentioned?

It's amongst, if not the biggest photo hosting out there, and it's very good. Nice clean interface, easy, unlimited storage for your photos and some stupid amount of transfer rate a month for about $50AU/year.

I just finished testing out a lot of those myself recently, Zenfolio was definitely the highest recommended and best to use.

No Shutterfly? I would say that this review is incomplete at best. Gather them all, then try again. You could also do comparison charts with features that would really break it down nicely.

It's OS News. Not OS 1/2 News.

Please.

I've been using Flickr for years but recently I've begun moving everything over to fotologue, a Japanese site (but in English). It has a great look about it, supports tags and has a great community.

.Mac Webgallery?

Anyone serious about uploading pictures will have to pay something. For mac users .mac ($100) may have more sense now with 10GB, Leopard new features and the nice webgallery integrated with iPhoto. Another interesting option I may choose is the family pack with 5 accounts and 20GB in all. Also you can get a reduction of 30$ when buying a new mac.

> family pack with 5 accounts and 20GB in all

And that costs over $100 (per year, I suppose)? That's insanely expensive!!! In a few years I've already taken 10 GiB of photos, and with the rest of my family included we have over 30 GiB. Photography enthusiasts might easily have ten times that.
(And here I thought SmugMug was expensive with its $40/year with unlimited storage.)

That wasn't my intention. I want to make clear that I don't think "the entire review is bunk", but I think it is good that comments fill the gaps of the article, and if all we give constructive comments it can be more useful for people who find the article in google looking for his perfect photo sharing site (for example).
