Servers are seldom hot news. When was the last time you heard anything of interest regarding, say a HP Proliant?

Regardless of everyone else's opinion of Xservers this was news for me. Separate departments/disciplines on campus use Xservers. The hard sciences and arts - off the top of my head. Virtualizing or `greening` the data center sprawl is a huge push here. So far we have virtualized one dozen of our former physical servers. To virtualize OS X server is just another tool in our arsenal to a manageable and clean data center.Edited 2007-11-03 17:31
