The release comes in two forms; you can either download the easy-to-use installer that excludes multimedia codec support, or you can compile Moonlight from source and include the FFMpeg codecs, using the build instructions.
It works on both Firefox 2.0 as well as 3.0, but support for the latter is shaky due to recent changes in Firefox 3.0 and requires a user-contributed Greasemonkey script [.js] to work properly.
