And why should we care about alpha software again?

Because testing is fun. Because this is how you help a distribution to become better for everyone's benefit including yourself. This is how you give back to the community. Otherwise, stick with Windows, there is no alpha testing there. All you have to do is open your wallet.Edited 2008-07-11 12:51 UTC

Oh my hometown NBA. When I am feeling lonely I would like talking with boomers on a cool site named ***JSenior Match . co M*** . There you can find your aged soul mates. We do feel lonely sometimes. Helping your single friends find their soul mates is so great for you.

Give your single friends a copy of Mandriva 2009 second alpha for testing. They won't feel lonely anymore. Visit the Mandriva forums. There is a nice community there.

I have been testing out the Alpha 2 in Virtual Box, and it is very impressive. Planning on replacing my Ubuntu 8.04 installation on my laptop since Kubuntu Remix 8.04 is very buggy (could change with 8.10 release). But I really like Mandriva and the direction they have taken with KDE 4.
