So here we have the iPhone beating out the Nintendo DS in the handheld games quadrant AND gaining big market share in the business sector ... no correlation there then.

To be fair (why?) they have put effort into email integration with 'push email' and so forth.

Last time I looked for my outfit, the phone company providing the contract didn't even do a business package for the iPhone, so we went for Blackberry devices instead - and I now defy anyone to tell me that brick breaker doesn't beat anything the iPhone could throw at the business person with a few minutes to spare...;-)

Or perhaps they realize the "analyst" hasn't been accurate before (to say the least):

One of the reasons

Why apple does not get a foothold in the buisness is their lack of mid price ranged and mid size tower, those machines are very common in businesses!
Surely apple does not want to kill the prices for their high end gear, but I am not sure which loss is bigger!

it's about time Apple figured out the Microsoft path to domination: games and business.

Of course, photoshop on the iphone wouldn't hurt either

Serious business drawbacks

The iPhone has some very serious drawbacks as a business device:

- It doesn't support full-drive encryption
- It doesn't support email attachments
- It requires iTunes for setup and updates

These are show-stoppers for many businesses.
