I've always liked the computer-in-a-keyboard idea, and wondered why it never really caught on more than it has. It saves a great deal of space as compared to a traditional tower or desktop and, if done right, would still be easy to maintain and get at the internals as well as to replace the keyboard top should that ever become necessary. It woudl allow more computer internally than something like the Mac Mini too yet while saving space even as compared to something like the Mini or the Eee Box. The whole idea has always just made sense to me, hopefully Asus can catch on with this.

I think that computer in a keyboard has caught on. The laptop computer market segment has been growing much faster than desktop for a while now.

What I think will make this a winner is the wireless HDMI connector. If that works as it is supposed to, this will be the perfect machine for living rooms everywhere.

This brings me back to my first computers ... I wonder if someone can program the mini LCD screen to look like an audio tape drive spinnging whenever the cursor changes to "hour glass"!

It has Wi-Fi, Ethernet, speaker, mic, and a 5-inch touchscreen display, as well as a 32GB SSD to chuck all that HD content on to.

I wonder whether they are being sarcastic about 32GB and HD content.

In fact, in the old OSnews article, the similarity to machines from the good old homecomputer days was also mentioned
