According to an Nvidia executive, smartphones with the company’s low-power Tegra 2 chips will become available in the fourth quarter this year. Tegra 2 chips put an Arm-based processor core, a GeForce graphics core and other components on a single chip.
That would make for some powerful phones.

I hope the Notion Ink Adam, which is based on the Tegra2 will come earlier.
There are no comm/radio HW on the Nvidia parts (not their space so it makes sense they are not trying hard). So they will have a fantastic hard time getting any design wins that require multiple chips vs. the single chip solutions coming down the pipeline from established vendors in the mobile phone space.
Nvidia’s GPUs lose a big chunk of their luster when you move away from the desktop/laptop space.
