seems between these and the probabilistic processors , the hardware is creeping closer to the realisation of a true thinking machine.ive always felt that the biggest hurdle in replication of the thought process lay in the fact that even if we got the algorithms down pat the hardware still had to evolve to a point where it could approach the performance of a true neural network.Nevertheless exciting times!
This could be pretty big, but we’ll see how it plays out.
But well, I’m sure lots of people, besides theoretical physicists will find a use to such processors too
Humanity has that tendency to create things first and find an use to them later…
