The only bummer is the wording of the license, which includes this wonderful gem in the  Microsoft Research Shared Source license agreement:<br />

Sure, create something awesome that uses this. Just don't expect to not get hit up for a patent licensing fees, if it takes off. <br />

Actually, thats not that bad. If you have a sane understanding of &quot;derivative work&quot;. Which, unfortunately, is an issue even when applying the more popular GPL/LGPL licenses. <br />
