Here's the definition of MS research

Take a look at what all the other computer software/OS companies are doing. See what becomes popular. Do a bad job of making a copy of it. Use your power to kill off or damage the original company.

Net effect. Everyone ends up with mediocre, bloated, unsecure OS and software.

Is New Mobile Computing the Sister site of OSNews? I honestly can't find a link to it anywhere in the navigation, the OS Resources section, in the page footer, or anywhere else that I can think to look. Honestly I would use both sites more if there were some helpful cross-links.

Hmm, I wonder how you haven't seen the whole vertical strip on your left?

I wasn't being sarcastic ... the Mobile Computing strip on the left doesn't appear on all stories, in fact I have no idea which stories it does appear for. I often look on OSnews and think to myself, 'what was the name of that site that looks like this one and has PDA news on it?', but I can never remember the name of it, and I can never find a link to it. One of the keys to usability (as I'm sure we all know) is consistency ... so why isn't there a link to Mobile Computing News in some consistent location on OSnews?

Good question

I've been meaning to do it, but I haven't thought of what would be a good place to make the NMC link yet. Thanks for the reminder.
