I've been looking for an alternative to DbArtisan which is very expensive (about $7000 with all the options included). As I see from the review and the screenshots, this is not it.

DbArtisan is a great tool that could be so much better and I've been waiting for someone to blow them out of the water. I guess, this ain't it.

Not sure if this product is similar or not, but a great tool for working with Oracle DB is Tora - http://www.globecom.se/tora/ Very similar in functionality to Toad (from Quest Software)

Tool for Oracle Applications

Since i am working as a DBA for Oracle Applications i didn't seen any tool to suport them. More than that we can administer Oracle Applications sessions from Linux and notice any load on the database server. This way we noticed some I/O issues on our database server when some concurrent requests were running. I hope dbRadar will continue its development!

Ah, you didn't look hard enough. Try Aqua Data Studio. It supports several versions of Oracle. I don't know how well, but it's free, so try it. It's only drawback is it's written in shitty Java. The app is very good, but Java sucks. Runs on Windows and Linux.

I was talking about Oracle Businnes Suite. Yes i noticed Aqua is written in Java. DbRadar runs quite fast since is using c++.

I've been using DbVisualizer for a long time now and am quite happy with it. It's written in the excellent Java language and seems quite similar in features to ADStudio.
