It is great to hear that Trusted OS system will be integrated to 5.0R. FreeBSD will be sure more powerful and production ready for us, system administrators and also for all *BSD community. I am sure other BSD licensed OSs will integrate such a feature in their systems after 5.0R comes out.

Yes, could not agree more.

Have been using FreeBSD since 1995. It has come a long way.
It is nice to see government funding as a recognition of all
the FreeBSD developers who have given their time and efforts
into making FreeBSD.
Best Wishes,

Free BSD on the desktop

Why is it that Apple was able to take Free BSD and create one of the most talked about operating systems in both the Mac community as well as the PC community. But companies like KDE, Gnome, or Free BSD itself, haven't been able to even come close. Does Apple have better designers and developers than what the open source community has to offer.
