It bugs me that the OS runs slowly in VMware, but that is more than made up for (IMHO) because:

1) I don't have to save my work, close all windows, and reboot
2) I don't have to worry about messing up my boot manager or other partitions
3) I can have multiple OSes paused in VMware. Seriously, that is the coolest feature.
4) I don't need to repartition and reshuffle things on my hard drive just to try out a new OS
5) I don't need to burn CDs. Just read right from the ISO.

I could go on, but those are the big ones.
