I don't understand Dave's comments...
That's a ton of bugs, and there's very little duplication. The vast majority of those 681 bugs are valid upstream bugs, yet none of them are in the upstream bugzilla. [...[ (And before someone suggests launchpad, just "no.". k?)
Why not Launchpad? Is this not the exact problem it is designed to work for? Does anyone have any further insight - surely if there are legitimate reasons behind not using Launchpad, those issues could be addressed to make it fit better?
