You're talking about the smit.log, that was good. Especially if you ever tried to use the installp command (and the options from Hell).
Never had the opportunity to use SAM, it is has been a few years since I administered a HP-UX box and until you mentioned it I have never heard of Glance Plus.
Whatever Sun does I hope they have equal efforts in GUI and CLI environments.
