Apple "Apple has done something really different with the Mac Pro, and it's taken a few days to put it all in perspective. Instead of three different models with several build-to-order options, Apple has a single model with a host of build-to-order options. With so many options - Apple says there are millions of possible configurations - it's not easy to come up with a simple value equation for the Mac Pro."

Could you point me to the MacPro equivalent on the Dell site? I'm curious how much of a savings there is. Make sure you match the processors too.

I was talking about dimensions versus iMacs and Mac Minis. There aren't any comparably priced Mac Pros yet, but there will be soon if history repeats itself.
