Wow. I can't help but feel they are getting their just reward for the root-kit and DRM.
When I was growing up, Sony had a sparkling image. They were widely regarded as a great company. The craftsmanship of their products was the golden standard by which others were judged.
Today, most of what I hear is about how they make inferior products that don't last, try to sneak root-kits onto people's computers with DRM infested CD's, and make batteries that are so bad that they can actually injure, or even kill you.
The US learned a lot from Japanese companies in the 80's and 90's. Looks like Sony learned a bit from us, too.
