Yes, I am sure. The PMP has a 3.5" QVGA screen, which is EXACTLY the same as the other QVGA PDA PocketPC screens in terms of density (I have 3 PPCs here to compare).
For comparison I have taken close shots of my x50v PDA which has a real VGA screen (3.7"), and the PMP's 3.5":

I have also uploaded some even closer shots of the two screens, notice how you can see the PMP's pixels very easily while on the real VGA screen you can't:

And yes, a 320x240 screen is more than enough to draw these icons. Do not compare to a cellphone's QVGA screen where the icons and fonts are in reality huge because these come with just 2.2" screens and not on 3.5" ones. If you have ever used a PocketPC which usually come in 3.5" QVGA screens you would be amazed how much information you can put in a single screen compared to a QVGA cellphone. This is the reason why I use a PocketPC as a cellphone: stores more info at the same resolution as other phones because the screen is bigger so designers can afford to make fonts and icons smaller.
Update: I actually took comp1.jpg and counted the pixels on the screen. It *is* 320pix wide. This is a QVGA screen, there is no doubt about it. I have a beef with SupportPlus selling it to retailers as VGA.

Are you really sure?
http://osnews.com/img/16160/sv1.jpg looks like it isn't doable in 320x240 at all.
Could you post a sharp picture of the whole screen please?
