Linux Trusted Computing is generally associated with Microsoft, and, as of a short time ago, now Apple as well. On the other hand, little time is spent on the idea of integrating Trusted Platform Module support deep into GNU/Linux and other Free Software desktops. Maybe it is time for that to change.

DRM/TPM should be used in linux to force enforcement of the GPL. DRM should be used to make GPL bins and src 'hardtied' together, inseperable, so GPL 'binary only' violations become impossible.

how about we just treat everybody like criminals?

i would rather deal with the pains of freedom then to have everybody live in a virtual cage where nobody can do anything wrong.
