Java XML?

So this Java XML Processor mentioned in the article.

Would that mean the end of the JVM? Will it be easier to use with Linux? (speculatively speaking)

I know Java isn't that hard to install (quite easy with the Universe repos)... but these are Questions that must be asked.

Is Web2.0 coming to hardware? Will we grt a JavaSCRIPT processor with that too that will do this silly AJAX stuff?

I might be wrong, but I think it will be the same as with today's GPUs - they didn't eliminate the need for OpenGL or DirectX they just implement certain functionality in hardware which makes exection significantly faster.
