Apple At the MacWorld conference in San Francisco, After the usual words of praise about the iPod+iTunes and the smoothness of the transition to Intel, Apple announced several new products. Surprisingly, nothing was said about new Macs or Leopard. The keynote speech started at 17:00 GMT. Read on for the details.

I do not know about you, but I am getting one as soon as it becomes available in Europe. No more perenially unfinished Sony Ericson and Nokia products for me.

Dido, this phone looks seriously slick, and looks like it would wipe the floor with my Windows Mobile 5 device, only time will tell. I hope they will offer it straight from the Apple Store, rather than through a contact

I read on engadget it's going to be both sold in apple stores and sold by cingular. Also I read the phone is locked to cingular...

I couldn't agree more. Sony Ericsson with their lack of wlan and Nokia with their buggy crashing software. A sleek, sexy iPhone is just what I want!
