Windows "Does performance suck on Vista when compared to XP? That's what I was set out to find out. I was worried at first, since the performance in Beta 2 was quite bad. While there is indeed a performance decrease, it's quite minimal as you'll find out."

No, WinXP cannot do that. You can however install an extension (Power Pack) from Microsoft or from a third party. But the MS extension doesn't work very well, and slows down XP (or Win2K3) a lot. Third party solutions tend to work better (if you choose the right ones).

The same goes for Win2K.

I tested at least 10 different virtual desktop software on XP and all of them failed miserably.
Microsoft own VD (power-pack) is slow, bloated and crashes my desktop (on two different machines) at least once a day.
