Is it just me, or do you also feel Fedora's look and feel is more and more ugly?

Fedora Core 4 used to be nicer: http://linux.softpedia.com/screenshots//Fedora-Core_3.jpg

When it's nice, don't change it, or you risk to have something of lower quality.

That second link is a shot of Fedora Core 5, not 4.
Besides, wallpaper and icon screenshots are about the least relevant thing ever to an OS test release. How about a ban? ;)

While this is true for a server, it's not true for a desktop.

Fedora ArtTeam is planning to bring wallpapers from previous version of Fedora so users who like them can switch to your favorite.

Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder, something that is beautiful to me might be ugly for someone else. One man's food is some one else's poison, it just a matter of preference, personal choice. Fedora seems to be evolving into mature operating system.

Legoland? Am I missing something? How does it look like Lego? Aside from the screenshot looking very nice, imho, there is NOTHING there that even remotely resembles Lego.
