Exactly my point. It's year.month, but *most* people will not understand that. Even linux users get confused. 2007.04 would make a hell of a lot more sense to most folks.

If its year.month, why is it the major number increases by 1 with every release? They purposely delay the release every year 1 month just so it can serve a duel purpose? If so what happens after December when its back to version 1.x ;) ?
