Serial ata supported?

Does this release work on serial ata hard drives?
I could not install the previous alpha versions because it didnt recognize my serial ata drive.

Did you try with the Alternate Installer disks? Those support RAID installations, I guess that could help.

I dont have RAID, maybe I could try the alternate one.

However the serial ATA recognition is a know bug:

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, Ubuntu does work in serial ata hard drives, and it was worked for a long time.

It may not install in your sata controller, but it does work in most of the sata controllers out there.
