Games The Wii (pronounced as the pronoun wee) is the fifth home video game console released by Nintendo. The console is the direct successor to the Nintendo GameCube. Nintendo states that its console targets a broader demographic than that of Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3, but it competes with both as part of the seventh generation of gaming systems.

Maybe people are just enjoying a differing way to play video games in the home, rather than looking to trick up their Wii? Maybe people are over Sony and their arrogance?

Also, Eugenia will tell you this site is not just about operating systems, it's about technology in general.

Indeed. Pity to see Sega loose out though. The Dreamcast was, imo, a fantastic console

Yeah, the Dreamcast is still a console which I'd be very happy to have. It's very much a console that had a great deal of opportunity but just didn't get there.

RIP DC.
