Window Managers A new release of dwn is available. "dwm is a dynamic window manager for X. It manages windows in tiled and floating layouts. Either layout can be applied dynamically, optimizing the environment for the application in use and the task performed. It is the little brother of wmii."

From the norm. I happen to be a fan of the nice, GUI-configurable sort of WM (and WindowMaker is about as minimalist as I'll go), but I could see this being useful if back-ported to X11R5 and used on some cruddy old workstation that somebody has lying around to play with.
