BeOS & Derivatives "A few days ago, everyone read about this year's WalterCon being canceled, which left people with non-refundable, non-transferable [airplane] tickets (you can read Mikesum32's reaction here) in their hands. Fortunately for them, an alternative has now been set up, and they will be able to still meet, in San Francisco, on August 11th. The venue? Picnix 16, a Linux gathering. The name? FalterCon 2007. "SMP is broken and doesn't boot on a multitude of machines. Yet, you guys have a very professional looking web site with a BIG FAT image download button and are looking for opportuneties to "sell" the project. Focus on major remaining technical issues first, thank you very much."

And *I'm* still waiting for Haiku to be able to copy files correctly, without eating up all my RAM and dropping to KDL, if I go one byte over...
