Talk, Rumors, X Versus Y "Experts say that migrations from Unix to Linux have slowed down because all the low-hanging fruit has now been picked. Linux growth in the U.S. x86 server market has, over the past six quarters, started to falter and reverse its positive course relative to Windows Server and the market as a whole." More here.

For all of you that always see the boogey man (Microsoft) behind everything, one thing you can't deny is the company earnings. They came out yesterday and were outstanding. Whether or not you like the OS, remember boys, it is just an OS not your religion, MS is making money for investors like me. It doens't matter what the news is, you guys always call it FUD. Boys, does it feel cool to write that word while you sit alone in your little room? Have you seen Dell release any sales numbers for the Linux boxes yet? If they were great, you know for sure it would be news! Listen boys, I use Vista, Open Suse, etc. They all have many problems, but last time I tried to load Open Suse 10.3 I had to reformat my hard drive, and Ubuntu would crash on me, and I am good at what I do. So boys, your religion is not ready for prime time yet. And Vista had been on my PC since it came out and no problems yet.
OK boys, start your shouting.

Thank you very much.

Fool, Technical superiority, freedom and ethics does not equal religion.
You may have short term interests in financial stock shares and in reports like these but it does not serve us and it does not serve you.
