As for sending in patches ... yeah, don't be silly. When someone has a valid complaint about a piece of open-source software, all the OSS zealots scream back "Well patch it yourself!" while in a froth. Well maybe 99% of users are incapable of fixing up the code? Maybe that's your job as developers?
That kind of attitude isn't going to propel your worthless OSS junk any further.
