Hardware, Embedded Systems I guess the cat is out of the bag. "Everex has confirmed plans to ship a UMPC with a 7-inch screen, similar to competitor Asus's EEE PC. A source close to the company revealed that the device - codenamed 'Cloudbook' - will ship with the Google Apps-oriented 'gOS' Linux distribution early next year."

You said it. I would gladly pay a little more for a 9-10 inch screen that was higher in resolution. I dont want to have to squint at it, but I would like to be able to fit a decent amount on the screen at once. At least the EEE (and presumably this one) will push 16X12 out of the video out port. Hook that puppy up to a big ass monitor and a keyboard and your all set.
