FWIW - AutoCAD and DreamWeaver can be run easily enough under Linux. Never tried a recent version of Visual Studio, but VS5 ran okay...

The question is: Why would you (or a significant portion of other users) want to run Visual Studio under Linux?

And to the original line:

How much better does Linux run when using AutoCAD, Dreamweaver, or Visual Studio?

Complaining about Visual Studio not running under Linux is like complaining why you cannot run IBM xlC or ESSL on your x86/x86_64 PC.
