LOL.... I completely agree with you. What I find extremely frustrating with OSX is that it is stuck in ObjectiveC and C++. I mean how 70's is that.
I started writing using the Commodore 64 so I have been around the bend a bit. Suffered through the memory model fiasco. BUT .NET is amazing. Actually even Java has it right that way. C++ and C is useful for low level system coding. As a general programming language forget.
I read the article and I thought what a piece of garbage. All fluff no stuff...

Well, I can see why the guy doesn't like .NET if he likes coding in C/C++. Personally, I'd rather 69 with a grizzly bear while having king kong shoved up my ass than use either of those two languages.
