Thanks for parroting this already stale news yet again! I've been running the EXT4 file system on my Debian box for months without any issues whatsoever and I highly recommend it. Of course I'll also welcome any patches that might minimize the odds of data loss. Speaking of odds, I think they're in my favor even with the file system as is. I'm not going to shy away from an advanced file system and its myriad features because the power just might go out on me. Do you constantly look up at the sky because you might get struck by lightning?
