Is the landscape KB available in any app?

If an app uses the keyboard, does that mean the landscape keyboard is automatically available or does the app builder have to change the code to provide the landscape option?

Developer. But it always was down to the developer. The keyboard always worked in landscape if you cared to implement a landscape view - it's just that Apple didn't do that with any apps except for Safari in 1.0 -> 2.21.
