Linux is so incredibly not #1
Keep telling yourself that. Real data by country and language and usage and addition of all distributions togheter show otherwise.
on the desktop
Must be why Apple is diverting in other area and Microsoft keep firing employees ... Your definition of desktop and how you addition them is innacurate.
you are just making a perverse argument
There is nothing to argue with thing's like you ...
for the sake of trying to win a debate
There is no debate with thing's like you ...
despite being completely wrong about reality.
No , I am real , use my real name and use real global numbers.
You can invent whatever statistics you like
That's your thing , inventing statistics that are erronous and show whatever.
but the whole truth remains the whole truth.
Truth in your writing as a lying anonymous coward as me so scared ... NOT.
Linux is not the most used desktop OS.
GNU/Linux the OS and Linux the kernel are the #1 desktop OS and #1 kernel for desktop by usage.

Linux is so incredibly not #1 on the desktop, that I have to think you are just making a perverse argument for the sake of trying to win a debate despite being completely wrong about reality. You can invent whatever statistics you like, but the whole truth remains the whole truth.
Linux is not the most used desktop OS.
