Linux A reader asks: Why is Linux still not as user friendly as the two other main OSes with all the people developing for Linux? Is it because it is mainly developed by geeks? My initial feeling when reading this question was that it was kind of a throwaway, kind of a slam in disguise as a genuine question. But the more I thought about it, the more intrigued I felt. There truly are a large amount of resources being dedicated to the development of Linux and its operating system halo (DEs, drivers, apps, etc). Some of these resources are from large companies (IBM, Red Hat, Novell). Why isn't Linux more user-friendly? Is this an inherent limitation with open source software?

Someone ..

I am 100% sure your not "someone" that your name is not rockwell or duke leto ( a fictional character in the Dune universe ).

Lintards can't pay attention

I guess , we don't pay attention to lies , slander libel and defamation with no connection to reality.

Thus, invented dreamland statistics

What statistics would that be ? I personnaly spoke of rankings by usage. What Your usual scripted nonsense is not adapated to my real comment yet ? what a surprise.

As far as Linux on the desktop ... please:

It's GNU/Linux , your discussing the OS.

More libel , slander and defamation , Hater nonsense , hosted on GNU/Linux , blog.

I guess , I missed your very large submission/accepted contribution here on OsNews , that show your point :

First, retard, it's you're, as in "you are." Second, oooh, you called me out for not using my real name on the Internets. You're such the detective. Bravo.

Classic freetard response. MyStatsAreTrueYoursAreFalse(TM)

Um, the bullshit "leading OS on the desktop" statistic? The most blatant lie of them all? What a surprise that you didn't notice that.

Sorry, dipshit, 99.9% of technical folks mean the OS when the say Linux, except for you and Richard Stallman's ballsack.

Um, it's a blog about Linux ON THE DESKTOP. Not on servers. So, hosted on a GNU/Linux server is pointless to the content of the blog. What a surprise that you didn't notice that. Freetard.

I guess , I missed your very large submission/accepted contribution here on OsNews , that show your point :

You got me. My self worth is not connected to any submission/accepted contribution here on OsNews. Sad that yours is. We don't care.

If you dedicate a blog to your hate of Linux (or Windows or OXS or ...) you're a moron with too much time and too little life.

Who said it's my blog, moron? I have nothing to do with it. Oh, and the 3,000 plus comments on an blog article that is WEEKS old says nothing about the utter failure of Linux as desktop OS. Got it.
