Whoops. You're right. Sorry about that. Fixed.
And thanks for expounding on the history of the processor. That was very interesting. So if your professor (or the text) was correct, I deem that the processor could have run faster and worked harder if Motorola had built it with all of the transistors that it could have supported. Interesting.
