so how do I use it?

So I've got my Gravatar URL from my wordpress account, but the link to "change picture" under My Account simply points me to the main Gravatar site. Where do I put my Gravatar URL in OSnews to change my picture?

You don't. Your gravatar is connected to your email address. We pull the image based on the email address in your account. Check out the gravatar website for more.
