A couple of years ago, a professor at my university had a very interesting thought exchange with the class I was in. We were a small group, and I knew most of them, they were my friends. Anyway, we had a talk about language purism - not an unimportant subject if you study English in The Netherlands.

Taking brain-dead simple observations from the past that most everyone recognized, and then retroactively asserting that RMS (or Pamela) was the only one who saw them.

That's not what I said. I said that PJ was right about SCO. Not that she was the only one. And that she might be right about Psystar. Revise my comments much?

That's not what I said. I said that PJ was right about SCO. Not that she was the only one.

Well, then by all means let's award her due credibility points for that time that she said that water is wet, too. That woman is a veritable Oracle.
