Star X.org 7.5 Released

X11, Window Managers X.org 7.5 has been released. This version includes DRI2, Multi-Pointer X, Input device properties, X Input Extension 2, RANDR 1.3 (adds support for panning and for Projective Transforms, which can be used to scale the screen up/down as well as perform projector keystone correct or other effects) and video and input driver enhancements. Yeah. IIRC, that was one of the reasons they forked the code to begin with. I guess it was harder to maintain than they bargained for.

Xfree was virtually stagnant, thats why the fork happened. Xorg is not standing still, since every release is now including significant improvements. Thats the difference from the Xfree days.
