RE[5]: Solaris is good - but most super computers run Linux

Nowhere do I claim that v2.4 is current kernel.
What I am trying to say is
1) v2.4 scaled really bad.
2) It is really difficult to scale good, it takes decades.
3) It is unrealistic to believe that v2.6 scales good.
4) I provide numerous links that support claim number 3).
5) Linux scales well on a large cluster, horizontal scaling.
6) Linux scales bad on a single computer, vertical scaling.

I stopped reading when you started talking about the 2.4 kernel. That linux kernel hasn't been current in years. If you think that it is current, it makes your whole post useless.
