Linux Linux 2.6.33 has been released. This version features Nouveau, Nintendo Wii and Gamecube support, DRDB (Distributed Replicated Block Device), TCP "cookie transactions", a syscall for batching recvmsg() calls, several new perf subcommands (perf probe, perf bench, perf kmem, perf diff), support for cache compression and other improvements. I thank you for the link, though it refuses to load, had to use Google cache version of it. Still, I learned a few very interesting things: CompCache sounds like a really useful tool on f.ex. LiveCDs, and I didn't know Reiserfs has issues on multicore/SMP systems (Reisersfs de-BLKification)
